What’s the good news? Today, we were very moved by these photos. Dr. Num (CEO of Bumrungrad International Hospital), his wife and their son traveled from Bangkok to Khao Yai to visit Kayeng at his school (Makutkiriwan School for the Blind). Why were we moved? Well, in addition to Bumrungrad’s ocular surgeon Dr. Nattawut and the surgeons who volunteered to take care of Kayeng’s medical issues in 2013 and since then, Dr. Num, his wife and his son were individually active with helping Kayeng during those very challenging days. They supported Kayeng as well. The couple’s son, a compassionate boy himself, took the initiative to console Kayeng, as Kayeng recovered from his 7 hour operation.
