What’s the good news? A few intimate moments with Grandma (Poryee) and Grandpa (Nao Pao). Refamiiarizing. Bonding. Reliving. It was Grandma who was at Kayeng’s side during his first nine months after that horrific accident. (It is Grandma and Grandpa – farmers from remote mountainous northern Laos) with the understanding, faith and trust in Kayeng’s many caretakers who believe and support Kayeng, his rebirth and his future.
More good news. Visited Kayeng’s Bumrungrad Hospital’s maxillofacial surgeon Dr Sutichai to check Kayeng’s upper jaw to ensure it was in good shape and to ensure his permanent teeth will come out. Dr Sutichai gave Kayeng a YES!!! Wonderful news. Dr Sutichai also found a baby tooth bud left from the explosion and successfully extracted it. Only a tiny bit of bleeding. Kayeng’s a trooper. Dr Sutichai was among the original 10 doctors who took care of him in 2013. Korp kun kub.
