It has been just about three years to the day since Kayeng Yang underwent very difficult surgery to remove a huge piece of shrapnel from behind his eye left there from a UXO explosion that cost him his sight a year earlier. A team of wonderful doctors, lead by Dr. Nattawut Wanumkarng, at Bumrungrad Hospital in Bangkok saved Kayeng’s life. Today the GCAC team was back at Bumrungrad with Kayeng and his grandparents for a check up with Dr. Wanumkarng. This is Kayeng’s grandparents first time outside of Laos and first time in Bangkok. New experiences. Mor Vue will be seen by doctors this weekend at Bumrungrad.
