In late June we traveled to Khao Yai, Thailand to visit the Makut Kiriwan School for the Blind to pick up Kayeng and take him to Bangkok for a check-up at Bumrungrad Hospital. With us was Cassie Chandonnet, who was visiting from the US and volunteering with Give Children A Choice. Cassie spent a couple weeks volunteering at the School as well.
Kayeng has been at the Makut Kiriwan School for the Blind for almost 18 months now, he is doing very well. He is more outgoing and friendly, very polite, and most of all well-adjusted and happy.
Kayeng’s check-up went well and we all were happy to see Dr. Nattawut again.
