We traveled by van to Nonghed District where Give Children A Choice is distributing multivitamins to pregnant/lactating mothers and children from infant to 6 years old. On the way we stopped in Thachok to see Yer Vue, which is the little girl who could not walk when we first met her about 4 years ago. On our last visit her teacher said she was a bit behind on her writing skills and should practice so we purchased her several writing practice books, pencils and a table and chair so she can practice at home after school, we also purchased her a porta potty for home as she cannot squat and we were told that she actually sits on the squat toilet. She was very grateful for the gifts. We woke the family up from their afternoon nap when we arrived.
