Recently returned from Nonghed, Xieng Khouang after a short visit to the Phawai Preschool/Primary School construction site. Both school buildings are close to done. Exterior eaves for both still to be completed. Some final stuccoing and painting remains on Building 2. Water into the school bathrooms is now connected and running in Building 1. Electricity and fixtures installed. Flagpole is up. Teacher’s desks and cabinets delivered. (Villages volunteered to provide desks.) Completion expected mid-month. Handover expected in early October.   Yippee!!!
